Disqualification
A breach of the Ploughing rules and conditions can entail immediate disqualification
ANY COMPETITOR DEEMED TO BE IN BREACH OF THE HEALTH AND SAFETY ACT 1974 (AS AMENDED), BEFORE, DURING OR AFTER THE COMPETITION WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
NOTE: last furrow must be thrown towards own crown. Only one visible tractor wheel mark allowed for on the cast-off which shall be made in the normal course of ploughing. Any wheelmarks other than this shall be considered a manipulation of the furrow. Finishing wrong way - 20 points.
20. Match results will be re-scrutinized after the declaration of results. In the event of an error, competitors in the class will be notified and the corrected results will stand. Competitors co-operation will be appreciated by the Welsh Ploughing Association.
21. The three Field Directors will be responsible for the overall running of the match including starting and finishing times. There shall be one Chief Steward for each class who will be responsible to the Field Directors. Plot Stewards to be responsible to their Class Chief Stewards. The three Field Directors to be the sole authority to decide upon all matters which may be reported to them by the Chief Class Stewards during the day, including all matters brought on by unforeseen circumstances and over which the competitor has no Control, provided that the matter is reported immediately. If, in their opinion and judgement, the report is substantiated, they have the authority to allow the said competitor extra time in strict accordance with the facts of their findings.
22.. Any question arising from and not provided for in these rules will be decided by the Local Committee whose decision shall be final and binding.
23. The Local Committee and its Officials will not be responsible for any accidents, loss, damage or injury.
